About Us

The Capital Four is a Concord, New Hampshire–based barbershop quartet with deep roots in the Concord Coachmen Chorus and a shared love of ringing chords, heartfelt harmony, and genuine connection with audiences. Formed in the spring of 2017, the group began under the playful name Taken Four Granite—a nod to their Granite State home—before adopting their current name to avoid confusion with a similarly named Harmony Inc. quartet.

Since then, The Capital Four has grown into a polished, reliable, and audience‑friendly ensemble. In 2019, the quartet welcomed a new lead singer who quickly became an integral part of the group’s sound and spirit. Today, the four members bring together more than 50 years of combined barbershop experience, blending seasoned musicianship with the camaraderie and joy that define the style.

Whether performing at community events, private functions, or on the barbershop stage, The Capital Four delivers a warm, engaging musical experience built on craftsmanship, humor, and harmony.
