About Us

We are The Capital Four, a Concord, New Hampshire–based barbershop quartet with deep roots in the Concord Coachmen Chorus and a shared love of ringing chords, heartfelt harmony, and genuine connection with the people we sing for. We formed in the spring of 2017, originally under the playful name Taken Four Granite—a nod to our Granite State home—before deciding to adopt our current name to avoid confusion with a similarly named Harmony Inc. quartet.

Since those early days, we’ve grown into a polished, reliable, and audience‑friendly ensemble. In 2019, our original lead stepped aside to pursue other endeavors, and we were fortunate to welcome a new lead who quickly became an essential part of our sound and our spirit. Together, the four of us bring more than 50 years of combined barbershop experience, blending seasoned musicianship with the camaraderie and joy that define this style of singing.
